Prior to joining EVP, Morita began her career as a Corporate Secretary at a notable Indonesian bank, where she developed a profound understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic communication at the highest levels. She expanded her legal expertise at prominent law firms in Indonesia, where she handled a wide range of corporate affairs, deepening her proficiency in business law and developing a keen ability to manage complex corporate challenges.

Leveraging this robust background, Morita now advises clients across diverse legal matters. She provides strategic counsel on general corporate issues, manpower, construction disputes, commercial litigation, mediation, arbitration, media and entertainment, and environmental law. Moreover, she has handled legal due diligence examinations across various industries, ensuring the thorough protection of her client’s interests in merger or acquisition transactions.

Morita’s scholarly contributions include publications on environmental law: “The Implementation of the Polluter Pays Principle for Mining Companies in Recovering Marine Pollution” and “Memperbaiki HAM dan Lingkungan di Masa Covid-19 Perspektif Keadilan Bermartabat”.
